A day with good news!~

Yesterday was a day filled with good news. Felt happy the entire day~ Amidst the usual dreary work stuffs.

The long awaited increment letter finally came, yesterday, even though we were promised to receive it before Mar ends. Let's not mention whose incapability it was for everyone has already lost hope...

So the ultimate good news was that, everyone in my team got promoted!!! Except me of course, as I've just been promoted when I'd joined in Nov last year. The sr. exec becomes asst mgr; the asst mgr becomes mgr; the mgr becomes asst gen. mgr! Along with increment of course. Isn't that great? Some felt that it was unfair as it was a rather floor-wide promotion without regards to efforts. But since this is sth that we hav no control over, why brood over it? Let it go and move on. Only time will tell who has the capability and who doesn't.

Besides, couple of others whom I'm closer have also been promoted, which I'm really very glad for them all!

Went out with colleagues for 麻辣火锅 after work, despite unfinished work for some of us. But to hell with it since it's our increment day! Had fun eating and crapping and complaining and sharing. Lots. Went home late and tired... *yawn* I hate to sleep late... for the uninitiated, my habit is to sleep before 11pm everyday. Failing which I would just not be myself the following day.

Mum's coming over this weekend and I'm gonna bring her to Night Safari! Thinking of where else other than that...
