PC down...

my pc is down....... and i feel down too. all of u out there reading this post, help me with my pc problem if u could. it goes like this:
press start up button - fan is very loud, louder than usual - cdrom, A drive lights on - hdd's red light not on - no bios start up beep - processor fan is running - monitor shows nothing - what is the problem? psu? or mobo? i am strongly intended to think it's mobo's fault since no bios beep was heard.
work's all right, getting stressful but challenging. the stress comes from myself, i expect a lot of myself... with the DnD just over, we're organising a department party, for 34. and unfortunately, i am chosen to be in the committee. well, the mgr chose our chairman, and our chairman chose us... E, W and me. just a side note, E, W and me are nicknamed the PP girls in office. for the uninitiated, it's short for POWERPUFF girls. y? bcos we are young and powerful. Ha~ it's just cos we r the youngest in our dept and we 3 are in a team. W is the buttercup of the team, who always gets whiny and angry, and complains. I am bubbles, the softest and sweetest. hehe~~ E is blossom, the leader of the team who is methodical and always think things thru. ok now back to the dept party. we only hav a month to get everything settled as the event is held on the 17 dec, possibly. so it's additional stress and work aside from our work proper. Nevertheless. we still gotta do things proper as there seems to be some extraordinary expectations from us. wonder why.
company's sportclub gave out 100 free Harry potter movie tickets! wonder if i managed to be one of the lucky few. well the last time they gave out dream circus' ticket i was not lucky enough, hope i am this time round.
the past 3 weeks felt so long... wasn't even able to rest on wkends. first weekend was spent bringing my mum n sis around, second wkend was spent in office for wkend duty, BOTH saturday n sunday! saturday night there was company DnD.... so i was totally burnt out. this wkend, my intention was to laze at home even if it means i have to eat instant noodle for meals. but my pc is now down... that also means i can do nothing at home... but i definitely won't go out, cos that will mean more $ spending. wht should i do????? if i use cw's pc, then he wud end up doing nothing but sleep, that wud then annoy me. if he uses his pc n i do nothing, i'd feel so bored...
plan to go home next wkend for my grandpa's 100th day.
z went hong kong and he's expected to come back tday. wonder if he managed to buy bags for me. wondering, wondering, wondering...
DnD was boring, did i mention that? many colleauges said it was not like this before, well probly bcos this time round PONL colleagues were around so they wanted to project a formal and proper image... but it spoils all the fun. pictures up soon... at least until my pc comes around... ha~ tht is a loooooooooooooooooong wait.
