had 2 consecutive days off, yesterday and today. while my flu hasn't fully recovered, cough came to join in the fun as if it's a sickness party... it began as a dry cough yesterday, just very light cough. then i went on to gulp on coke as though the cough was just mediocre. And then i saw the result... cough that is hurting my throat. i dun plan to go c doctor, think i'll just let it self heal. feel strained to talk, so i shall talk less in the next couple of days. dun feel offended if i dun talk to u in coming days k?
went to watch the long awaited harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban yesterday with cw. we both felt that the movie was too pack, as in every scene was in such hurry. i didnt like it that way. i prefer to read the book and dwell in my own imagination. no doubt they left out many parts due to time constraint, but i just felt it was not enough. probably i wouldn't feel that way if i hadn't read the book. my imagination of dementor was different from that portrayed in the movie. i thought they are stronger creatures, something more solid, with a built like hagrid's, not sth so willowy and flimpsy... and i thought they GLIDE, not FLY? and the dementor's kiss, it was not portrayed perfectly. i like the character of professor trelawney. i think she was good! fit perfectly to my imagination! Brilliant work done by emma thompson! the Honeydukes was way smaller than i thought... and the position of Hagrid's hut, it was not this far in the first ep, it was right outside the castle gate. however, it seems more apt in this ep. i just can't help comparing the book and the movie tho i knw i shudn't...
is it becos of the fact that all the actors and actresses have all grown up, that makes everything seem smaller? Dursley's house, Harry and friends' dormitory, their classrooms and the hogwarts express' compartments... and neville looked better when he was younger... i mean, he shud be fatter and rounder.. haha~
