had my first day of interviewing,it was bad... people shunned us like we were some kind of plagues! the moment i said "excuse me,..." they immediately changed their course of movement and waved indicating "no no". even after i clearly expressed myself that the questions are ACTUALLY very simple and wouldnt take more than half a minute, they still refused. i dun understand y. no patrons dared to come out through the exit at which i was standing nearby. everybody shunned me! when rejecting to be interview, few smiled and said no. most just ignored u, and give u a don't-bother-me-face. it surely wouldn't cause you your dear life to just disclose some information, or would it? or were they worried that we might dig deeper after we finish those simple questions? or maybe they were worried that we were trying to sell something, like credit cards, or some resort bonus... now i know how it feels to be working on the streets trying to survey or interview people. i used to act just like them. but i promise myself that i'll change, from now on. as long as the surveys do not require me to disclose personal info like salary, phone number and address, i'll happily help them. do you think if they'd known that we're from metro to survey the customers they'd be more willing to do the interview with us? maybe i'll suggest that we be allowed to do the interviews in the store, rather than outside the store. we being outside the store could send the wrong info that we're from other companies trying to sell things.
