Freak who performs stunts

There is this freak at work, who likes to put up a false front. A false front that shows she's rich, that she drives, that she has someone picking her up from work, that she has mother who picks her up from work, that she's been to restaurants and eaten good food...

It was tremendous fun to watch her act when we all have already known about the truth. This is what happened one fine day.

Stunt #1
In a lift where there was just her and my colleague, Lyd. Lyd felt awkward that they were in the lift alone but not talking and wanted to start a conversation with her. At that instant right before she parted her lips, freak flipped open her phone which she had been holding and started talking into the phone: Hey, you don't have to come pick me up today 'cuz my mum is picking me up. 'kay bye.

Suspicious notes:
1. Her mobile did not ring. Her mobile face was visible to Lyd which she had been staring at for a short while before she had wanted to talk to her. She was certain that noone had called her 'cuz she was staring at it and it did not ring or flash if it had been put on silent mode.

2. She's a foreigner in Singapore and her mum does not stay in Singapore, let alone driving in Singapore.

3. She had pretended to walk towards the pick-up point but shortly after sighted crossing the overhead bridge towards the bus stop across the road.

4. Before you could say 'Isn't there no reception in the lift?'. Yes there is, in our office building. So suspicious note 4 does not exist.

Ways to bust this stunt should she perform it again:
1. While she's talking on the phone, immediately call her on her mobile. That way the mobile will ring in her ears while she was talking into it. Or flash/vibrate while she's at it. ~Haha, BUSTED~

2. Ask her where she's heading and give you a lift wherever it is that she's heading. And if she changes her destination later, change your destination along with her and ensure you follow wherever she's heading. Until she's run out of stunts and says: Oh, my mum is not picking me up anymore. I'll need to take bus/mrt home now. ~BUSTED~

None of us could comprehend her actions but we just take this as free entertainment. It's really good laugh for lunches!~ You should experience this for yourself!
