Were out looking for a restaurant or a place to eat last Fri at CQ. Brewerkz had a waiting queue of 45 min, so did many others. So we decided to try this fried rice cos one of my colleagues said it's famous. Only thing, he hadn't tried it before. So we thought ok, let's try it then!

Went upstairs, the restaurant looked rather empty, despite the waiting crowds at all other restaurants downstairs. At the door was this promotion poster that says if one pays with UOB credit cards, one gets a complimentary plate of ramen or some sort.

So we went in, read the menu, not very impressive. Dishes looked normal but way overpriced. Checked with the waitress abt the UOB card promotion, were told it only works if we had reserved our table via phone. We couldn't understand the rational behind that, and for fun, one of us asked if we could place the phone call now, there and then and guess what she replied? Yes, pls! You can! in a belittling tone, we felt. We kept repeating the Q and asked her to confirm. she just kept repeating the same answer in that belittling tone. She had the nerves!! You understand how we felt... It just sucks, the experience.

So we ordered the famous fried rice, some crab dish with prata and some coffee ribs, since we didnt' want anything ordinary that we could easily get at normal restaurants.

Overall, food was reaalllly normal but way overpriced. That's all I can say. We should have noticed sth was not right given the non-crowded restaurant.

Overall experience: SUX!!! Will never visit again and never will I recommend anyone.
