verify fwd mails!!

Wow~ haven't been blogging for abt a wk nw! lessons have started proper, by saying proper, i mean lectures and tutorials. practicals not quite yet. i believe i'll feel the full force next week cos there'll be lab from 2-6pm on both monday n tuesday.

recently received several forwarded emails from a friend, regarding Tommy Hilfiger's rumor. well, the email claims that Tommy Hilfiger made a statement, saying "If i had known that hispanics, blacks, asians, and other colored ethnics are going to buy my clothes, i wouldn't have made them so nice". the email also claimed that, while attending Oprah Winfrey's show, she asked Hilfiger if he did make those statements, he said yes. and oprah kindly asked him to leave her show immediately. I felt angry when i first read tis mail because it is racist. but later on i decided to verify the email. so i went to search abt it. and it turned out that it was not true. go to www.tommy.com if u wanna find out more abt it. it actually happened in 1999, and today, 2004, ppl still fwd this rumour!! i felt angry again, because ppl simply fwd mails without caring abt the quality of the information being passed. so do THINK, before u fwd any information next time. i was guilty of it because i used to do this. but not anymore.

Singapore lost in table tennis... so sad... i really had thought, or rather everyone had hoped, that sg would win sth tis time!! but the hope was smashed. really sad...

and where is malaysia in badminton??

oh yea, i went for audition on friday for guitar club. yea, i need to be auditioned in order to learn how to play guitar, u didnt get me wrong. so i went there, the guy asked me to clap with him in a tempo, then he tried to disrupt my tempo. it was that simple. and i dunno if i got thru. i just left my contacts there and to date noone has contacted me yet.

i finally managed to install some useful programs into my pda... finally~ now i hav tv remote in there, i hav dictionary in there, i have mahjong in there, i have a program which u can use to decipher ur life, i have bus guide in there, i have chinese calendar in there, i have chemistry periodic table in there... etc. i am finally making full use of it. although when compared to the new range of pdas it is really very slow and dull (despite the fact that it has a colour screen, tecnology sure has advanced a lot since i bought that pda in my first yr!) it is enuf for my usage. i only need it for its scheduling purpose.

it's funny that i wrote "reading: textbooks" because as u knw, i didn't read in my first two yrs!! but now i do, or rather, i'm starting to. i hope i'll keep this good habit till i graduate. i'm sure it'll help in pulling up my grades.

i think i have a thing against money. because everytime i see money in my wallet or account, i tend to wanna spend them all!!! what is with me??
