Scary Malaysia

safety in Malaysia is becoming a big issue now. Even I, a malaysian am afraid when walking on the street, what about a foreigner? when walking on the streets of malaysia, i would clutch my bag tightly in front of me, i no longer can walk the way i like. not just tht, i have to keep looking everywhere and be suspicious wherever i walk. even if i was walking on a busy street, i cannot drop my vigilance, because i no longer can expect passers-by to help if anything happened to me.

My grandma's house was burglared. Few pairs of shoes were stolen from the front porch.
My house was burglared, my mum told me. but it was a small incident. some desperate thieves came to the front porch and took away some jeans and a bra! my neighbours' clothes were stolen on the same night as well. the small loss is not the problem, the problem is there were thieves in my house!! can u imagine? when u r sleeping in ur house, someone, maybe a man, sneaks around your house and steals things? how scary is that? he is just not more than a mile away from you!! and you were sleeping, harmless, not on alert. what if he finds a way to get into your house? i couldn't afford to imagine the rest. i hope he is just a helpless drug addict who needed some small cash to ease his pain. And I hope that he will die of the drug that he is consuming. who knows, if one day he may become greedier and commit greater offence that is more harmful than just some petty theft!!
