Final destination
Tday i've been feeling breathless. I feel like shallow breathing does not give me enough air, so i have to be aware of my every single breath to make sure each is deep enough to provide me enough oxygen just so i dun feel breathless. as such, i've been breathing voluntarily. it is like i'm sighing all the time. i thot i was gonna die... u knw, animal instinct? haha~
one prof once said that he did not want to live too long, bcos above a certain age, 25% of ppl will suffer fr cancer; of those that live, a fairly large % one will get heart disease or artherosclerosis; and of those that live, one will get Alzheimer or Parkinson or whatever disease there is that old ppl are predisposed to. then i thought, maybe men aren't supposed to live that long by destiny. as it seems tht as one grows older, fatal diseases seem more likely to occur on one. maybe it's like Final Destination. if one gets away fr cancer, heart disease and artherosclerosis will come after one; if one manages to escape from these, Destination will come in the form of dementia. so i wonder sometimes it might be better to die not-too-old, and healthy, and happy, and minus all the sufferings fr those diseases, which up to date has no comprehensive cure. i guess that explains y healthy long-lived ppl are rare now as they are the few ones who escaped the claws of death, for now.
