this is the genkan, which is the entrance to the house

the ugly shelf u c is mine. yea... currently no remedy for that and no intention to either. i knw it's an eye sore but let's just turn a blind eye to it.
then, it's the dining table, which we rarely use. cos most of the time we sit on the floor, under the fan, in front of the tv when having meals.

now comes the living room

this is what i love best about my new room

TADA~ the gigantic wardrobe! the two doors are mine, the pathetic small door on the right is cw's. there u go~
and this is what i love best abt this house

TADA~ the very spacious kitchen with plenty of storage space! to date, the cabinets have not yet been filled. way to go Ruby~
about my new job
my company is called VATit. it has few offices worldwide. the sg office is located at robinson road. our core business is to help companies claim back value added tax from EU, canada, japan and australia. VAT is the equivalent of GST in sg's context. u c, tourists get to claim back GST when they come visit sg. the same goes to corporates who send their staffs overseas for various reasons. the VAT that we can claim back for companies, are those incurred in services mainly, eg hotel bills, transport, conferences, trade shows and plenty others! so if ur company do have such expenses in relevant countries, CONGRATULATIONS~ we can claim the VAT back for you! in sg it is a mere 5%, but in EU it can be as high as 25%. what's best about our service is that there is no upfront charges. and we don't charge you until your VAT refund comes back. so basically u r not paying for anything but r instead getting money back for no input~! sounds lucrative eh? it is true. there's no trick to it. it is just that the sg market is not well informed abt such benefits. so, that is when we come into the picture. email me for more information.
my boss is a great lady~ each of us has our own cubicle, get a new pc, with LCD, and some even got laptops! and we went for a company lunch on the company's expense in coffee club where the bill was >$200 since each of us ordered $20 worth of meal. from these small little ways i can tell that she is willing to invest in her staffs, someone who values staffs, so unlike my prev boss in A co. i guess this can be a sign to tell how much ur employer values u.
i'm just glad that things r going great now~ i thank whoever is up there, and hopefully things will go as great in future.
